SALUDA---Forest landowners are invited to participate in a tour of Matthews Christmas Tree Farm on Tuesday, May 15, 2001. Participants can meet for the tour at the Saluda County Agricultural Building at 5pm or join the tour at Matthews Christmas Tree Farm at 5:15 pm.

Wyman and Greg Matthews and Ronnie Shealy will show the group the latest techniques in producing high quality Christmas trees. The tour will conclude with a fish fry at 6:30pm, sponsored by Matthews Christmas Tree Farm.

From Saluda, follow Highway 178 to Batesburg for approximately 9 miles. After passing Amick Farms, turn right on Spann Road. Travel 1.9 miles to the farm on the left.

Those who plan to attend must call the Saluda County Extension Office at 864-445-8117 or 8119 by Monday, May 14, 2001.
