Why we should live under such an unnecessary cloud of despair when you and our two US Senators are the only three people in the state who are making any sizable amounts of money for selling out to oil interests is a question my high school civics teacher, my college poly-sci professors, and all of the articles and books I've read since never fully explained. I'm confident that you can help me and the 24 communities along the coast that have formally opposed drilling understand this travesty. If you fail to withdraw this ill-advised request to pillage our shore, then for time immemorial, when people hear the word "turkey", your face will come to mind. In the out chance that you have some slight interest in the facts that apply to this issue, I am nearing completion (seriously) on a paper called "The One Hundred Top Reasons for Rejecting Offshore Drilling." If you expressed some interest, I'd be happy to make you my first addressee (probably this weekend). Let me know.
