Instead, do like other states, charge people to put a tag on anything with wheels that are using the same roads as I am. These landscaping trailers have used the loophole for long enough now. Currently anything over 20 feet must have a tag. They are building these trailers 19 feet 6 inches to beat the system. Boats are another one abusing the system. Mopeds are another. If I lose my license I can go out and buy a moped where no tag is required. My feeling is if they are on the road they should be paying for using it. They cause just as many of the potholes on the road as anyone else. If they have no tag then they are not weight restricted. Please help us get our roads back and treat everyone equally.
