Keep the Confederate flag at the capital. I am a proud South Carolinian and I have had a great deal of respect for you until now. You are turning into a fence walking politician just like Lindsey Graham which I use to respect but he has shown his true colors as an turncoat SC representative over the years. He started out standing up for us like you but has sold us out to many times for his own benefits. Most of the people I know have very little trust in him anymore. We thought you were different but we should have known better. You are starting to act just like him going with which way the wind blows with your knee jerk reactions to meet your political agendas and not really representing the people of SC. 
You know as well as anybody that the flag doesn't represent racism in SC it represents our heritage. If you are going to remove it then remove the stars and bars as well. If the confederate flag stands for racism then the American flag represents the same. We strong arm almost every country in the world but that's ok because we can under the American flag. You say you are of Indian heritage. Well if the confederate flag stands for racism then the American flag represents racism as well and it should come down with the Confederate flag. Under the American flag we killed off almost all of the Indians of this country that had been here for thousands of years before us and took their land, resettled them without much regard for their heritage or welfare, and broke more promises than can be counted under the American flag. Let the people of SC decide not you fence walking politicians whether the Confederate flag should be removed from the Capital or not.
