I have always supported you and really appreciate all you have done for South Carolina. I understood your hesitation is supporting Donald Trump and I understand the reasoning behind why some people voted for him. However, I won't fall subject his fear-mongering and I refuse to support any immigrant witch-hunt in the name of national security. I pray that you and the other elected officials of our great nation will stand up against fear and discrimination. Fear-fueled hatred is still hatred and we can't compromise the basic civil rights and safety of immigrants for the perceived safety of others. I heard that you might be offered a position in his Cabinet and I hope that you get it. Seeing a friendly face in what is becoming a very scary place would certainly bring me some comfort. Good Luck, Marla Fincher
