Also the background was changed from light blue to white. In my case, a white man with white hair, it looks like you photographed me in a snowstorm. Add to that an image much reduced in size and you have issued me a "NON-photo ID". I do rely on my State issued Photo ID at airports, shopping and other locations where it's required. Check my image out yourself via the SC DMV. I'm sure that many other people have experienced the same results. Why have two (poor) thumbnail images in place of the previous on image that took up 20% of the face of the license? After all, isn't the purpose of a photo ID to identify the person carrying that ID? The larger image serves as a "flashcard", whereas the smaller image demands a second or third examination. I spoke to people at the SC DMV who were all very nice, couldn't tell me why the size of the image was reduced, or why the back ground color changed. They advised me that I could get another photo taken at my expense, but that the results would be the same. It seems to me that you are the right person to talk to about this problem.
