Do not remove our Confederate Battle Flag from our state capitol grounds. That flag is a symbol of our ancestors who fought and died in a horrible bloody war. I have spoken to many constituents who do not want to see this happen. It is a symbol of standing up against an unjust government and a reminder of how enduring we are as a collective. If you take down that flag, you will lose my vote and my confidence along with many others.
