The road is literally falling apart and I pray someone does not lose their life as a result of the road conditions. Hopefully you and your staff are not putting budget needs ahead of the lives of innocent people. I understand that the interstate is a federal highway, but I am confident South Carolina receives federal highway funding. This situation is an embarrassment to your state as well as your administration. In addition, it is clearly a safety hazard which needs to be immediately addressed. Gas prices in South Carolina are no cheaper than Georgia, so you must be getting some tax revenue from fuel as well. Please make this a high priority before a family suffers serious personal loss because of a leadership failure. Thank you!
