Please shed light and put pressure on the City of Sumter to test, investigate and rectify our water in the southwest. WLTX 19 has been doing stories on our water for a few days now. We are disheartened to hear this evening at the city council meeting that the city has known about this problem. This problem has been going on for years.... Not months and not all attributed to main breaks. We as residents want answers and timelines for answers. We need help from higher than the city itself. Please watch the news reports over the last few days. It's ruining our homes, clothes, we have to buy bottled water to clean and cook. I have to take my children 23 minutes away from my home to a friend's to bathe. Please tell me how this is right and how it's OK for the city officials to know about this and not say anything?
