The reason I know this is because he has admitted to me that he is. My concern is that i feel the York County Narcotics multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit is taking it to far with him. It has been 9 years that he has been "working" for York County on and off. I feel like now they have taken advantage of their informant it is no longer a matter to scare him. He hasn't done anything but get worse on heroin and meth since he he snitched for them for the first time. I feel like they aren't doing anything now but using him, they do not care that he is a person and has children all they care about it getting the other drug dealers. While I do understand that Confidential Informants are a great resource to have I also know they are people and they need help as well. Not one time has the state offered him any kind of rehabilitation though the times he has gotten drug charges instead he says he will snitch to stay out of jail but shouldn't there be a set amount of how many times 1 person can snitch until the state demands a mandatory rehab for the person? I mean he hasn't even been to jail for a significant amount of time for any drug charges he has had. I really would greatly appreciate it for this to be looked into and if you need any other type of information I would be glad to give it to you. It just really bothers me knowing I am going to get "The" (he's overdosed and died) call and i am going to have to tell my children their father is dead just like I had to tell their father his father was dead from a drug overdose. The state is so hell bent on getting people better and making overdose rates go down but SC Counties aren't doing anything to help these people. Give them rehab if they have been there give them longer sentences in jail. I mean this is half the reason for the shootings and killings is over drugs and people being "snitches" and our DEU isn't doing anything but supporting their habit by keeping them on the street and letting them slowly kill themselves. Some people you cannot help but i feel like some people need/ want the opportunity but cannot afford rehab or maybe haven't been given a lot I jail time to really make them think about their choices. Please Mrs. Haley put yourself in my situation or anyone else's. It really sucks to sit here and know that day is coming for me but there's nothing that can be done and the state isn't offering anything either. I have contacted the York County Sheriff's Department in hopes of getting in contact with Commander of Narcotics Marvin Brown and stating the concern I have. So far I have not gotten a response. Thank You very much for your time. Alisha Morris
