I was very proud of South Carolina until you decided to cave in on the issue of the Confederate flag. You've allowed ONE person to define what the flag means, and politicized a symbol of the SOUTH. The whole flag issue is NOT really about the Confederate flag; it's about disenfranchising Southerners from the love of their region. That love is something that no other part of the country has and they also don't have a flag that represents it, as the Confederate flag represents the South. The South has always been conservative and THAT is what this subterfuge with the Confederate flag is all about. You fell for it, Governor Haley. I've admired you but you should be ashamed of yourself on this issue.
