Mrs. Thomas,

I have been recruiting in Anderson, SC area for almost 3 years but have lived in S.C. for 6 years. 3 years stationed in Goose Creek Navy base. On my off duty time I volunteered and spent time with the community. I have orders now to relocate to Norfolk, VA and will be leaving soon and I would like something to remember South Carolina by and it would mean so much coming from the Governor. I was wondering if I could receive a "Letter of  Commendation". I just received my letter of appreciation from my Pastor and will attach it. But I need this letter as soon as you can so I can send it up to my Chain of Command.

If you need anything else please let me know.

V/R,
