GREENVILLE---Farming 101, a basic introduction to farming, will be held February 19, 21, 26, and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Greenville County Square, Conference Room B, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC.

Topics will include building the soil, vegetable crops, small fruit and tree fruit crops, beekeeping, goat production, free range poultry, and direct marketing.

Cost for the course, which includes publications and refreshments, is $40 per person or $70 per couple. Pre-registration is required. To register, write a check for the appropriate registration fee payable to CUCES Oconee County Extension Fund and mail to Oconee County Extension Service, PO Box 400, Walhalla, SC 29691.
