Sheriff Nash is committed to only serving as the interim Coroner and will not seek election for Coroner in 2016. Sheriff Nash is duly qualified to fill this position as interim Dorchester County Coroner. Spanning over 35 years, his law enforcement career includes three terms as Sheriff of Dorchester County and Police Chief in both Irmo and Summerville, SC. He has trained over 10,000 law enforcement officers and government officials, both domestically and internationally, in police-related techniques and is currently the owner of the Police Dynamics Institute and Focal Point Investigations.
