Dear Governor

I have had a second home for years in SC and never complained about paying higher taxes than residents even though I do not use your services as much as permanent residents.  That means paying for roads schools parks etc. at a much higher rate.

Now I find out through Horry County assessor office the state now mandates the higher rate.

Well... you did it.  I have now put my home on the market.  So hopefully a permanent resident will buy it and pay 75% less than I do. 

I  sincerely hope there is a wave of non residents that sell.

And to think I spoke up for you when you were running for governor

Shame on you.
