Duke Energy is her provider. There have been articles about Duke having problems from their power sources in SC. There have been many excuses as to why no one's power had been turned back on. HOWEVER, Duke Energy hasn't been SEEN by anyone that I can find in South Carolina! There are NO Duke Energy trucks on the ground. They abandoned their SC customers during their time of need. PLEASE find out what was going on and why they handed out a list of excuses to their customers, instead being honest and admitting they weren't coming in the first place. My friend's power was cut on by Sumter Utilities. If Sumter Utilities could restore her power, then why couldn't Duke? Maybe South Carolina needs to terminate Duke Energy's business here. They are not for the people of SC.
