My name is Kristen Sullivan and I am the Executive Legislative Editor for Notre Dame Law School's Journal of Legislation. I am writing today because the Executive Board of the Journal would like you to consider publishing an article with our journal during the 2015-2016 academic year. The Journal of Legislation is a legislative law review that focuses on analysis and reform of public policy. The primary purpose of the Journal is to provide a forum for debate of timely issues of state, national, and international stature. The Journal differs from traditional law reviews by concentrating primarily on public policy matters rather than on case law. Prominent public figures and legal scholars contribute major pieces of legal analysis to the Journal in the form of articles that truly bring the Journal to life. The Journal is published semiannually by students at Notre Dame Law School and is one of the most circulated Journals in the nation. Past contributors have included U.S. Representative Peter King, U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd, Governor Michael Dukakis, U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, U.S. Representative Lee Terry, U.S. Representative Richard Gephardt, U.S. Representative Bob Barr, among others. The Journal believes in the open debate of all political ideologies and philosophical points of view. The main philosophy behind the Journal's solicitation efforts is that viewpoints and recommendations of public leaders are more likely to affect policy change than are technical analyses by lesser known experts. I would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss contributing to the Journal with you further. If this is of interest to you, please contact me at ksulli13@nd.edu or via cell phone at (617)620-6797, and we can arrange a short phone conversation to discuss potential topics, submission dates, and other important details. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Kristen Sullivan Executive Legislative Editor Notre Dame Journal of Legislation
