Recently you supported the removal of the Confederate Flag. Personally I feel the Confederate Flag should have been left alone and I appreciate that South Carolina still honors our Confederate Soldiers. However, it seems to me that if you are going to remove the flag because it "offends" some people, you should also give up your state holiday that is actually costing taxpayers money. Governor Hailey, I commend you on the job you have done thus far but, this just doesn't seem right. Please consider the message you are sending by keeping a paid holiday that should have gone away with the Confederate Flag that never hurt anyone. Thank you for your time and may God continue to bless you and the Great State of South Carolina. Ronnie Whitaker
