Thank you for contacting the department with your concern. My understanding is that you have talked with Paula Brown from the Florence regional DHEC office who has previously investigated this sewer overflow and confirmed that the overflow has ceased. The Town of Latta is exploring funding options (grants, loans, etc.) to address the sewer overflow issues. Team members from the Florence office will continue to monitor the situation in Latta to ensure any and all overflows are properly addressed.
