Box 173 Florence SC 29503 FRG22@scdmh.org 843-758-2082 843-639-8030 JOBS delays/closings of county offices/clinics Under the order of delays/closings for state agencies is it possible to add that if an employee also lives in a county that has a delay/closing the employee can also follow that protocol as well due to weather conditions. For example, I work in Hartsville but live in Florence. When there was a delay in Florence county but not Darlington county at the time I still had to drive in Florence's weather to get to Hartsville. Needless to say my truck spinned on the bridge coming to Darlington county. I am concerned because this was very scary for me because I am a wife and mother as well. It wasn't until later that Darlington county had a delay however if permission was given for me to wait the weather out since it was worse at the time where I lived than where I worked this incident might not have happened. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
