We have suffered so much due to the floods that hit our area last month, so many people lost their homes and all their belongings, there of course have been many sources of relief but there is still much to be done and of course the problem is the lack of funds to accomplish all that is needed.  I believe that there is another serious problem which thousands of illegal aliens have faced for so many years and one is not having the ability to obtain a legal drivers license due to their status. If they were  allowed to obtain a drivers license, this would not only generate a tremendous amount of revenue for the state's needs but would also serve to have control of the number of persons that are here in the state without status, they would be able to purchase vehicles, pay taxes and insurance and would be tested to comply with the requirements, this would reduce the number of leaving the scene of the accidents or trying to run from the law for lack of a legal driver's license and everyone would be identified for whatever purpose is necessary and they would pay for any citations they would receive, California is doing just this and it has been a success, why can't SOUTH CAROLINA take advantage of this opportunity, I think it would be something positive  for all concerned.
