I have already written Gov. Haley.  To add to my comments, I think it's a disgrace what is happening to our state over the actions of a 21 year old murderer.  Our history will be completely eliminated by the actions of Ms. Haley.  History is just that; good, bad or indifferent.  Blacks are not the only people ins South Carolina that have been mistreated and the war was not fought over slavery.  It case you don't know, South Carolina was a wealthy state producing rice, cotton and tobacco.  The government was taking money from the south to build infrastructure in the north.  This was the reason for the war.

Dylan Roof wanted to start a race war.  Our governor is enabling that action by stirring deep rooted emotion in the hearts of true southerners. Things affected so far; the national cathedral, street names in Georgia, monuments across the country, flags of various states.  People will only put up with so much.  As for now, Ms. Haley has received her last vote from me, even if I have to vote for a democrat, who are the people she is appeasing now.  Without our history we are doomed to repeat the past.

I have written my state representatives asking them to have a little common sense and vote against the drastic changes.  The flag is flown in an agreed upon place of prominence behind our capitol (yes, behind.  Our capitol faces the south)and now due to a despicable loss of life, all history must be eliminated.  This is not right.
