(SALUDA, SC)---Dairy and beef producers are invited to attend a special Silage and Balage Meeting on Monday, February 12, 2001, at 7 PM at the Hollywood Ruritan Building in Saluda. The topic will be "Managing Quality Silage and Balage." Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the best methods for harvesting, preserving and feeding silage and balage. The time for harvesting spring crops of small grain, ryegrass and alfalfa is near. Brandon Winn of Alltech and Scott Foster of ConAgra will be assisting with the program.
