USDA-FSIS Expands Recall

COLUMBIA---The South Carolina Department of Agriculture forwards the following information on behalf of the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service. The USDA Food Safety Inspection Service has expanded the nationwide recall for turkey and chicken products issued on October 3 and October 4, 2002, from 295,000 pounds to approximately 28 million pounds. The products bearing the establishment number "P-1351" inside the USDA mark of inspection may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
