We have given approval for sewer for each one but the other agency (Renewable Water Resources) will not move forward due to issues they have with Taylors (personal and professional). Taylors has received a Satisfactory rating from SCDHEC and has been working diligently in removing I&I out of our system but ReWa will not believe or accept what has been submitted. Even though our same regulatory agency has said we are doing what needs to be done for our permit requirements. Taylors has not had any reportable overflows since 2013. ReWa had 2 MH overflows in the Taylors district that they have blamed on Taylors for years (30 years) but ReWa recently fixed the problem but still doesn't want development to happen in Taylors. Before coming to Taylors I worked for ReWa for 15 years and know how they handle things. I would like to discuss this in more detail with your office. I do know that their Commission Board needs to be looked at due to Ethical issues. The legislative delegation does not properly vet the appointed candidates. There is too many conflict of interest on that Commission Board. Currently they have a Commissioner who is also the owner of an Engineering Company that does business with ReWa and Taylors. ReWa didn't stop that firms development but is stopping others. This is not right. Please keep me anonymous from any contact with ReWa. I can discuss in great detail by email or by phone. I just feel it is time that the Governors Office looks into this agency. We at Taylors don't believe in hiding things we keep everything out front and on the table but things at ReWa is not done that way. They want us to take the blame for things they do cause they don't believe in doing any wrong. Thanks!
