A 2 hour delay does not help anything. My child has not been able to make it in to school for 2 days now, as we are having to boat in and out just to walk to a store! and they ARE counting her absent according to powerschool! They are also having school Monday October 12, 2015 as a make up day and it is unlikely this water will even be down by then! An excused absence based on their geographical location would be a better solution!
