Leventis against state accountability

Our senator is at it again, making enemies and burning bridges even while the Senate is out of session. This time he is fighting against privatization of medical services offered to inmates. Here we have Gov. Sanford trying to make our state more efficient and more accountable to the taxpayers and, as usual, we have Mr. Leventis working to prevent that from happening. I guess those are the things you learn at the Democratic National Convention. If only our senator were as excited about doing his job in Sumter and Lee counties as he is about doing Gov. Sanford’s and Mr. Ozmint’s jobs, we could get some things done.
