Now, same drive takes an hour 15. The extra time each day keeps me away from my family more hours every week. I recognize finishing 526 has its challenges. But, I fear if we don't act now traffic will get worse and worse which could impact my family. Johns Island is being heavily developed. In the next two years there will be thousands of more cars. I ask you to consider investing in our future. Finishing this project will provide jobs short-term and allow tens of thousands of people to spend more time with their families. I believe this project is inevitable. If we act now, however, the logistical pain will be minimized. If you wait five or more years, thousands more will be congested when the construction starts. I hope we can count on you.
