Fund aims to keep Governor's Mansion open
Associated Press

COLUMBIA--A supporter of Gov. Mark Sanford set up a relief fund to help keep the Governor's Mansion open amid a budget crisis.

Sanford said earlier this week that the mansion would be in the red by the end of the budget year.

Sanford supporter John Rainey launched The Mansion Fund. The Mansion Fund is at P.O. Box 2626, Columbia, S.C., 29202. Or contact Christine Yates, 803-737-4772.

Also, Adluh Flour company is donating grits, flour and corn meal to tide the mansion over until the new budget year begins July 1.
