This horrific act of terror serves to express our concerns on policies and procedures of bringing "refuges" from the war torn regions of the Mid East to our region. We question whether current vetting procedures are indeed adequate to avoid admission of potential or actual terrorists into our state. We understand that America is a country of immigrants, both of our families came to the US to find new opportunities, however the threat of ISIS infiltration of refuges from this area represents a clear and present danger to the safety and security to all who are here. We encourage your thoughtful consideration of enhanced border control in the United States and reconsideration in your expressed desires to accept refuges to this area. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Wendy Hay, RN and James R Hay MD
