I have a question in regards to loss of wages during this time. Is there a program that helps with loss of wages due to the evacuation in South Carolina. I have a brother that had to come home from Beaufort SC due to the evacuation. He has been a mail carrier in Hilton Head for over a year, still listed as a temporary employee though and had no benefits to help him recover his wages, which is crazy to me. He now seems to not be able to get caught up due to the hit on his finances and faces losing his home. He is a father of four, and things are tuff. He has tried and seems to be getting denied help because no physical damages to his home. He is a worker and does not miss work. This was a have too situation for the safety of his family. He feels he has tried everything and relief is only at a government level. His home has equity in it. Please help. His name is Kenneth Tackett, I am just looking for somewhere to help. Please advise if there is anything we can do.
