Good morning, 

Out of the pain that our state has endured and overcome in 2015 regarding racial relations, I have written a children's book that has been approved for publication. I highly respect the  ways in which Governor Haley handled our toughest moments this past year and I'm reaching out to her and hopes of sharing my project with her. It would be an honor to gain her insight on the book  and I would welcome any contribution from her on this project. It is my hope that together we could make my story a gift from South Carolina that would  shine light and love while inspiring the rest of our nation to work toward better relationships between people from different backgrounds. I believe that in starting positive conversations with young people on tough subjects will eventually lead to more open minds, and stronger communities for future generations.
