Former Attorney General Charlie Condon is expected to formally announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate Tuesday. The announcement will come during a speech on terrorism at The Citadel in Charleston. Condon is seeking the G-O-P nomination for the seat Democrat Ernest Hollings is giving up.
