I had heard on the news that the governor for South Carolina, Mrs. Haley, had announced some program for high school students in S.C. that rewards them for obtaining a career in teaching. This program was to give them a debt free education if they graduate from college and for 8 years would work in the South Carolina public school system. Forgive me if I do not know the details. The reason for this email is to ask if someone from North Carolina with a teaching degree came to teach in your state for 8 years, would they eligible for any kind of student loan relief? As you all know very well the debt is enormous and it not only puts a financial strain on the student, it also puts it on the parents who cosign on the loans. Please let me know if there is any opportunities for my daughter in South Carolina that would benefit both her and your school system. Thank you, mark Georgevich
