Thank You for taking down that flag. I am a thirty six year old man white living in Illinois. In 1993 my family moved to the South and there it was that flag and that word. That flag flew on our property till the day we moved. That flag to me meant overcoming. Being a man that has never seen color as my issue your issue was not mine. How very wrong I was. I took my flag off my house over 10 years ago but that word never left. Once again how very wrong I was. My Apologies to any person I ever hurt using that word. Thank You South Carolina.
