I was bounced from Vet. Affairs to the Governor's Office and back again several times. October hit with the disasters that hit the state and I quit trying for a while as the last I had heard was the Governor's office would get back with me. I have all the documentation needed from the National Archives, articles from the local paper at the time. Although his daughter lives in Oregon, there are several nieces and nephews in South Carolina who would love to have this medal awarded to him. Please send me whatever I need to fill out to get the process started. 173.93.169.136
