Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. 3352 Fish Hatchery Road Gaston SC 29053 dgdrinkard@bellsouth.net 1-803-755-1137 1-803-206-4766 I would like to talk about the problems our S.C. Insurance Commissioner is causing for fixed income seniors when they continue to approve rate increases for long term insurance policies with a fixed maximum payout. These insurance companies are simply violating the sprite of the contract to force the seniors to drop these policies and our S.C. Insurance Commissioners are allowing them to do this by approving the increases. We are being punished for trusting these companies to play fair and the S.C. Insurance Commissioners to protect us from them unreasonable and unwarranted increases. Both my wife and I have had our rates increased twice for a total of 44% above the original price without any increase in the maximum that the company will have to pay out. This means that we are loosing value as the value of the dollar goes down but the insurance company is making money of interest and able to increase the cost of the policy to seniors with the help and full approval to the state agency that is to protect us. I am having a hard time trying to understand how anyone can justify these increases. Sincerely; Samuel Duke Drinkard 174.194.13.182
