Dacusville Farm Days Labor Day Weekend

DACUSVILLE, SC---Marking the last long weekend of the summer season is Dacusville Farm Days. Saturday through Monday, August 31 to September 2, 2002, is Dacusville’s big annual event.

Sponsored by the Robinson Family, the event will feature all types of farm equipment including a steam engine, antique cars, other antique engines and tractors, a saw mill, and a veneer mill. Visitors, young and old, will have the opportunity to step back in time to see wheat threshing as well as to experience riding in a wagon or participating in a peddle tractor pull, maybe for the first time in their lives. There will also be country, bluegrass, and gospel music, country cooking, and children’s games.

The show officially opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, and ends on Monday afternoon, September 2, 2002. A parade of tractors will be held several times during the 3-day event.

Admission is $5 per person. Children under 12 are free.

From Greenville, follow highway 183 towards Pickens. Turn right at highway 162 towards Dacusville. In Dacusville, turn right onto highway 186 towards Marietta. From highway 186, turn left on Pace Bridge Road. Dacusville Farm Days will be on the left on Pace Bridge Road.
