Your political attack on Donald Trump, together with Ted Cruz,has diminished you in the eyes of many South Carolinians who have been your supporters. It's unfortunate that you assented to being used by Washington elites already at odds with many of your constituents and voters throughout the country. It was also unwise to castigate fellow Republicans while supposedly issuing a "response" to the SOTU speech.  The only significant result of your effort was to satisfy party leaders' bias and stir a potful of gleeful reporting by the liberal media.   

We're hopeful that your destructive intentions will inure more to your future disadvantage than to your (and the establishment-elite's) political targets.
