 My name is Carlisle Whittiker. I am a volunteer firefighter with Sandy Springs Fire Department in Anderson County. This past Sunday night one of our firefighters, Kenneth Michael Stanton, was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver while directing traffic on an accident scene. He was our 2014 "Firefighter of the Year" and had also served our country in the Marine Corps for 12 years. We would be honored by your presence at the funeral service for Mr. Stanton and I'm sure it would mean a great deal to his wife and children and also the hundreds of firefighters from our state along with firefighters on their way here from NYFD, Boston Fire Department, Chicago Fire Department and many others from our nation. I'm sending you a link with the service info if you are able to attend we would be greatly honored.
