I do think bill 941 is a very bad bill, anyone who buys, sells or trades a gun with a friend, relative or co-worker would be guilty of a felony and fined up to $2,000 and spend 5 years in prison. This is rather stiff penalty for some one who isn't doing anything that has never been illegal. This is another attempt to make honest citizens criminals and take away their means to defend them selves from criminals. As we all know a convicted felon can't own a gun; this is another way to take away guns from our honest citizens. Also how much would these background checks cost the seller or buyer? More cost, restrictions on our rights and taking away more freedoms. Our government is headed in the wrong direction, protect the legal citizens of South Carolina and don't let this happen.Thank you, Lloyd Brown
