Yes our roads and transportation and infrastructure need to be improved ... 526 completion .... 
 
Has adding to the Hotel and vacation / corporate rental "Occupancy Tax" been explored 
 
We are glad to have the tourist here ... to stimulate the local economy, but they also add to the congestion and put pressure on our roads... (negatively impact the safety and speed for our emergency services - Police and EMS..., quality of life of locals)
 
The Occupancy tax is to cover - promotion to the area and to EMS services ...  my opinion that means roads also.... 
 
add some additional $ figure to to Occupancy tax, so the tourist and business travelers ... pay for our roads v/s local citizens
 
If the tax law prohibit from being used that way ... It can be changed
