I recently mailed a letter to Governor Haley requesting a proclamation for Week of the Young Child, April 12-18, 2015. I just wanted to make sure she received it and see if there was any additional information that was needed.  Our organization is a state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  We collaborate with other stakeholders to support all children from birth to age 8 and their families through awareness of the importance of the early childhood years and advocating for the needs, rights, education and well-being of young children in South Carolina.
