| Governor Lifts Evacuation Orders |
| (Columbia) - Saturday afternoon, Governor
Mark Sanford lifted the mandatory evacuation orders for Horry and
Georgetown counties related to Hurricane Charley. The governor also lifted voluntary evacuations for all remaining coastal counties. Gov. Sanford said local leaders would have discretion in determining the appropriate timetable for lifting evacuation orders in their respective municipalities. |
