Hello,

My name is Debra Chaplin and I am not involved in any organization but I wanted to tell you about a DSS case that my family is involved in. It has been going on for awhile now.  My husband and I got married this past January and we moved from Charleston to start a new life. He got a great job! And we are doing very well.  I had a opened DSS case in Charleston, SC so they followed us here and took our children back to Charleston and they are currently in Foster Care.  There names is Emily Chaplin and Joseph Chaplin and they are four and three.  We have finished everything in the order but we currently in family therapy in Charleston, SC and in Fayetteville, NC.  The order says we have to have the case transferred to NC and they have to do a home study but it has been three months. My family has been torn apart far too long!!! We don't know what else  to do. My husband and I have lawyer who say we have to finish the family therapy but we don't know how long it will last. It would be more beneficial for us to do it in NC where we reside and with our children.  If there is anything you can do to reunite my family.
