Greetings, My name is Dr. Madhu Sandhu. I am a physician in NC and moved here approx 5 years ago. I share many common similarities with Governor Haley. First I am also of immigrant Sikh parents. I was brought up abroad and moved to NY at the age of 7. I moved to NC in hopes to find a position. I have faced an unbelievable amount of racism, sexism, and criticisms. I ignored most of it in order to self preserve myself as an American of foreign roots. I have been trying to get very proactive in the UN Coalition of Women through the NC chapter. There is always positive change but it is slow.  I am a Republican and have been proud to be one. That being said I have faced resistance by other women organizations and professional groups, more so in the last several weeks.
 I believe that if given an opportunity to work for the Republican  party or in Governor Hallys office  I can be a valuable asset both in the Republican realm and in the women's rights world. 
If there is any position that might come up please kindly consider me.
We can always dream but that dream only becomes a reality if given a chance
