We have standing water everywhere and the mosquito problem is getting bad. I looked up DHEC and called the Manning number listed but was told they only handle the City of Manning and was referred to Santee Cooper. Santee Cooper graciously sent someone out who found lots of larvae but we were informed they only spray the water front areas. We are not waterfront but because of improper drainage in our area the water is standing everywhere and has been since the flood in October. This representative told us she knows of no agency in Clarendon County that is spraying for the mosquito problem. I don't know where else to turn. I have heard Governor Haley speak of helping with the mosquito problem following the flood. Please help us in this growing problem. There are so many diseases now being transmitted through mosquitoes. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention. Glenda Shelton 54.84.215.136
