Dear Governor Haley. Please make the women of SC safer by toughening the laws against repeat criminals and crimes against women. It seems that since I have moved here 10 years ago that the women of SC are considered disposable. There have been so many murders in the last few years alone that I am fast becoming scared for my safety. I live in Surfside Beach SC and there have been no less than 5 or six instances of murder or disappearances in the last 3 years. 

The latest attempted murder was 3 miles from my home. A man out on bail for killing another man in 2013 bit off the nose of an ex-girlfriend and attempted to kill her. By the grace of God she got away. She was a victim of Christopher Brian Campbell - a victim when no one came to her defense - a victim when the police charged him with CDV of a High and Aggravated Nature.
