Dear Governor Haley,
I am writing to urge you to move
forward on developing a state plan to
comply with the Environmental
Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean Power
Plan. Dirty air hurts everyone,
especially children. The costs are
also astronomical to treat the
health conditions caused by dirty air.
It would be nice if for once you
would think about your constituents
instead of the Republican party. I
know I would admire you for that.
While the courts do their due
diligence by reviewing the Clean Power
Plan, I strongly encourage you
to ensure our state powers ahead on
developing plans to act on climate
change by limiting heat-trapping
emissions and transitioning to
renewable energy.
