Sharpton to visit Lowcountry

The Rev. Al Sharpton, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, is scheduled to make several stops in the Lowcountry on Sunday.

Sharpton is planning to visit Tabernacle Baptist Church, 907 Craven St., Beaufort, at 11 a.m.; cut the ribbon at his headquarters at 107 West Main St. in Ridgeland at 2 p.m.; talk at First Euhaw Baptist Church at the corner of S.C. 462 and S.C. 336 at 3 p.m.; and speak at St. Stephen AME Church, 710 Main St., Hardeeville, at 7 p.m.
